July 2025: At the 11th JAC Supplier Forum held in Hong Kong in June, we introduced the 2025 Supplier Forum awards, which covered three critical elements; Supply Chain Visibility, Risk Analysis and Supply Chain Engagement.
The purpose of the awards was to recognise, reward and promote best practice by JAC member suppliers in the critical area of supply chain due diligence.
As part of this, we engaged with suppliers to tell us about what they have been doing and best practice exemplars were selected and rewarded with a JAC 2025 Supplier Forum Award in the following areas:
Supply chain visibility – This award recognised the supplier that had made significant progress in mapping and understanding its supply chain, and in doing so, helped JAC members improve their own visibility
Risk analysis – This award recognised a supplier that had demonstrated a leading or innovative approach to assessing ESG-related risks across its supply chain
Supply chain engagement – This award recognised a supplier that had demonstrated a leading approach to engaging its supply chain in addressing ESG risks
Following a thorough review and analysis of the applications by the JAC Judging Panel, there were three winners:
Category 1 Winner – Supply Chain Visibility: LENOVO
Lenovo built a digitalised, visualised, and measurable supply chain visibility platform that enables end-to-end management from Tier 1, Tier 2 to key Tier 3/4 suppliers of JAC members, covering 99% of procurement spend. The platform integrates supplier information management specific to factory level, ESG data collection, evaluation, feedback and improvement, forming a closed-loop governance process.
With automated workflows, it significantly improves supply chain transparency and ESG risk management efficiency, supporting responsible sourcing and continuous supplier improvement.

Category 2 Winner – Risk Analysis: ZYXEL
ZYXEL has built a robust Supplier Risk Management System covering risk identification, assessment, tiered response, and capability building. By integrating data analysis and digital tools, it boosts risk alert efficiency and extends oversight to Tier 2 and beyond.
Combined with audits, training, incentives, and transparency, the system raises supplier ESG awareness and promotes carbon disclosure to improve carbon risk control. This structured, forward-looking model shows strong governance maturity and drives green transformation across the supply chain, with scalable, award-worthy impact.

Category 3 Winner – Supply Chain Engagement: CISCO
Cisco drives systemic forced labour prevention through supplier engagement, training, and industry partnerships to provide remediation for as many workers as possible. Cisco demonstrated this over multiple published case studies, which include collaborating with workers to resolve grievances and trace other workers who have left the workplace so they too can be compensated.
Through collaboration with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) and suppliers to trace worker recruitment journeys, resolve root causes, and ensure remedy, Cisco drove $1.7M in recruitment fee reimbursements for 2,290 workers across the supply chain.

We would like to thank all applicants for their submissions and efforts in helping us build better, more transparent, responsible and sustainable supply chains.
