JAC Annual 2025 Report
Have a look at our latest report – our 2025 annual public report, providing an overview of audits completed in calendar year 2025, and highlighting some of our key working group activities.
During the year, JAC carried out 151 audits which resulted in 794 corrective action plans.
Our 2025 annual report also provides information on the work undertaken by the Climate Change, Circularity and Supply Chain Due Diligence working groups.
JAC Annual 2024 Report
Have a look at our latest report – our 2024 annual public report, providing an overview of audits completed in calendar year 2024, and highlighting some of our key working group activities.
During the year, JAC carried out 150 audits and surveys which resulted in 661 corrective action plans. We engaged 917 suppliers as part of the Supplier Engagement Programme with the goal of building carbon reduction capacity and capability. Furthermore, as part of the Carbon Reduction Programme we approached 50 suppliers and are now working directly with 44 suppliers who have the greatest impact on members’ Scope 3 carbon footprints.
Our 2024 annual report also provides information on the work undertaken by the Climate Change and Supply Chain Due Diligence working groups.
JAC Circularity Survey 2025 Report
Have a look at our report – JAC member circularity survey “Circularity – a major commercial opportunity for both telcos and suppliers.”
This report shows that the telecoms industry is transitioning toward circular economy practices. Drawing insights from 67% of JAC members, nearly two-thirds have established specific circularity targets, with the remaining respondents planning implementation within 3 years. Leading companies are spearheading initiatives in device collection, refurbishment, and waste reduction.
Our report includes a call to action and practical steps for our suppliers to take.
JAC Climate Change 2023 Report
This sustainability report shows the telecoms industry is at the forefront of corporate climate action. Of the 27 companies that make up the Joint Alliance for CSR, more than 90 percent have committed to net-zero or science-based targets.
We recognise, however, that most of the carbon footprint of telecoms companies lies beyond their direct operations. That’s why JAC members are committed to tackling Scope 3 emissions – and 85 percent of JAC members now have Scope 3 reduction targets in place.
Our transition to a cleaner, greener industry won’t be easy. But with the right mindset and – most importantly – the right action, it is achievable.
In addition to a summary of global activity by individual JAC members, the report also provides best practice steps for suppliers who wish to support the Scope 3 ambitions of key telecoms customers.

Webinars
“Achieving Net Zero in the Telecoms Industry – a call to action” Webinars
During July 2023, following the publication of the JAC Climate Change Report “Achieving Net Zero in the Telecoms Industry: Tackling Supply Chain Emissions“, JAC held two Climate Change Webinars where we presented a summary of the report and the actions JAC members have already taken to set ambitious targets and the concrete measures already implemented to reduce their emissions and mitigate climate change.
We understand that this transformation will not be easy, but we are confident that with the right mindset and action, it is achievable. The webinars offered practical and scalable solutions to reduce emissions across supply chain partner operations, their supply chains and the products and services they supply.
In the webinar, we heard examples of the practical steps companies such BT Group, Deutsche Telekom, MTN, Orange, Swisscom, Telefonica, Telstra and Vodafone are taking to reduce scope three emissions.
The webinars were recorded and a recording and presentation can be found below:
